Yes! We deliver to anywhere withing a 40 miles of driving distance from our yard at 127 Hurley Drive DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433 although some locations will have a fuel surcharge added.
Delivery could occur at any time on the day the dumpster is scheduled to be delivered. If you need the dumpster delivered within a specific time timeframe it is best to give us a call at 850-333-5335 to speak with us about when you need the dumpster delivered.
We currently only accept credit or debit cards and the payment must be made before the dumpster is delivered. Cards will be securely held on file to be used for any additional fees such as those incurred for extra days or weight overage. All credit card data is secured by our credit card processor and not visible to anyone accessing our system.
If you are a contractor and you are established with our company and in good standing we are willing to discuss NET30 terms. We are a small company so the acceptance of NET30 accounts will be made on a case by case and will depend on whether or not we have the operating funds to support an additional NET30 account.

We permit cancellation up to the day the dumpster is scheduled to be delivered but a $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund. This is to recoup the fees we incurred and the time spent booking your order. If you wish to cancel on the day the dumpster is scheduled to be delivered a refund will not be issued but rather a raincheck will be issued to your account for the full amount charged minus the $50 cancellation fee. If the driver has already left the yard with your dumpster there will be no refunds or rainchecks issued whether the dumpster is received or not.
Generally speaking, we do not require a deposit. In some rare cases we will require a deposit if you are a new customer and we know there will be a significant investment on our part due to weight overages. An example of this would be a dumpster for a large amount of concrete. We would charge the normal rental charge plus a $350 plus tax refundable deposit to cover any overages. In this example, if the overages only total $150 then the remain $200 will be refunded. This is very rare though and determined on a case-by-case basis. For further questions call us at 850-333-5335.
Yes. You are responsible for the dumpster while it is in your possession. All damages, even if they were caused by someone else or by an "act of God" are the responsibility of the renter.
We will set up on almost any surface as long as it is safe to do so. We are not responsible for any damage to property as a result of placing or picking up a dumpster. Dumpster placement is at our discretion for safety reasons but we will make every effort we can to accommodate your needs. It is important to know where any buried pipes or septic systems or any soft ground is located to prevent getting stuck or causing damage. If we get stuck or rupture and fall into a septic tank or large pipe it will be the responsibility of the renter to pay for the cost of the tow truck to recover our equipment as well as any repair or replacement costs for any damage to our equipement as a result. Also understand that the dumpster range from 2,500 pounds to as much as 5,500 pounds not including anything you put in it. Scratched or cracked concrete, damage to turf, or sunken asphualt are always a possibility. We will do everything we can to prevent any damage but sometimes it is impossible to fully prevent it.

There is no way of knowing how heavy the contents of the dumpser are until we pick up the dumpster and weigh it at the landfill.
This is done by weighing the entire truck, including the dumpster and the contents, when we first arrive at the landfill the weighing the truck and dumpster without the contents after we dump. The difference in these two weights is the weight of the contents you put in the dumpster. We will bill you for any overage at a rate of $75 plus tax per ton (prorated). For example, let's say you rent a 15-yard dumpster which includes 1.5-tons and after weighing in and out and out at the landfill we determine the tonnage of your contents were 2-tons. You will be billed for the 0.5-tons of overage which would be $37.50 plus tax. In 99% of cases household weight will not go overweight. Construction material is more likely to go overweight depending on what kind of material it was.
The short answer is, the landfill does not charge us less due to wanter weight so we can't either. The fact is, with the majority of materials the water weight you may gain as a result of even the heaviest rain is less than a couple hundred pounds. Most materials, even absorbant materials like drywall, will only absorb water a few inches deep before they start shedding water. When we pick up the dumpster any water that may be standing in the bottom of the dumpster will drain out and continue to drain on the way to the landfill. We have dumped dumpster full of drywall and other material after it got rained on for two or three days and the drywall was still bone dry on the inside. With all that said, if you are concerned about water soaking into the contents of your dumpster you are welcome to secure a tarp over the top. The tarp must be removed prior to pickup otherwise it will be placed in the dumpster and disposed of or placed on the ground where the dumpster was sitting.
When the dumpster is picked up, even if it is before the end of the included number of days, the rental is considered complete. In order to receive the dumpster back the standard rental fee and any applicable fees must be paid before the dumpster can be delivered. In some cases, a small discount can be provided if we can travel with, and drop, an empty dumpster in another location on your site then pick up the full dumpster and leave. Doing this saves us and entire trip so we can pass the fuel savings on to the customer but this based on availability and scheduling.
No sales tax will be charged if you provide a PDF of your sales tax exemption certificate by sending it to mail@doubleoandco.com. We will keep a copy of the certificate on file so if you order more dumpsterd while it is still valid you will not have to provide it again. If the certificate expires or any of the information on the certificate changes you will have to provide an updated certificate.
At this time, we are not hiring but check back with us periodically. As we grow we may need to hire drivers or possibly other personnel. In the event that we do need to hire drivers we will be looking for drivers who hold a Class A CDL.
